The HoverCam T5 Scanner and Document Camera is a high resolution camera equipped with a 5 megapixel HD CMOS Active Pixel Digital Image Sensor perfect for scanning documents and books. The T5 model replaced the X500 model. Adding to the versatility of the T5, this model may also be used as a document camera. The T5 is lightweight at 1.8 pounds and requires a minimum space with its small footprint of 4 x 5 oval base. Constructed from aluminum and with a satin finish, the T5 is durable as well as sleek modern look. It also has an incorporated microphone so you can record audio to go along with your video recordings. The Hoveram Flex software lets you record a movie of your presentation in .AVI format.

The T5 is now telescopic and will ''shrink'' to fit inside a carry bag (included).  This was a great new feature not found on the X500 model. This is not only important for traveling but it can also be used as a mechanical zoom. By lowering the camera lens this acts as a mechanical zoom. It also has a digital zoom so this just increases the overall zoom capability of the T5 or T3)

Another improvement was made to add increased stability. The unit now has a weighted base and a rubber pad on the bottom to keep it firmly in place. It is a very stable camera even though it may appear not to be. In fact, we actually show how stable the unit is on our demo video as Anthony purposely shakes the table.
