The Vivitek DK8500Z BK is an ultra 4K HD large venue laser projector (black) that brings an extraordinary 4K-UHD resolution with full 8.3 million pixels for large venue applications. Its long lasting laser light source provides up to 20,000 hours of operation with low maintenance for the peace of mind. This projector also provides you the performance you demand under demanding presentations. Demanding presentation requires keen connections: HDMI 4, Display Port, DVI-D, 5 BNC (YPbPr/RGBHV), VGA, RJ45 (HDBaseT compatible), 12V Trigger, RS-232C, 3D Sync and wired remote.

The DK8500Z BK is built for easy installation with motorized interchangeable lens options and 360° degree set up flexibility. It features 7,500 ANSI lumens with a dynamic 10,000:1 contrast ratio for an outstanding image quality.

The DLP (Digital Light Processing) is a display technology from Texas Instruments (TI). The technology inside is often referred to as DMD (Digital Micro-Mirrors). It consists of an array of mirrors where each mirror represents a pixel element. For example, a high-definition DLP projector or rear projector with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution would have over 2 million tiny mirrors. Each mirror is attached to an electronically driven hinge that controls the amount of colored light that is reflected from.

With more than four times the resolution of Full HD, 4K resolution-based projectors offer massive picture clarity and show images with a degree of details never experienced before.

The DK8500Z BK is equipped with built-in edge blending. This feature allows several projector images to be seamlessly combined into one large projection. With built-in edge blending, there is no need for additional external edge blending hardware. All setup is conducted via the projector’s OSD and remote control. The images can be blended as a “Strip,” “Stack” or “Grid.”

Vertical and horizontal lens shift adjustment allows for easier alignment on the screen without moving the projector and provides professional installers with greater flexibility. A number of Vivitek’s large venue projectors have motorized zoom, focus and lens shift, allowing adjustment even when the projector is mounted in an area difficult to reach.
